Day 3 - Arrived at Anza-Borrego SP

Next morning we got up and went to Walmart to get the RV battery case. Luckily, they only had one left. I also bought some Hi-C drink for Lawrence they were on sale for $1.50. Then we want to eat breakfast at McDonald inside Walmart, but it was too small and no table for us. Also they don’t have computer plug in. We went outside and looking for another place for breakfast, we found Burger King. But they didn’t have plug in either. We only drink coffee, ordered hash-brown for Lawrence. Then we went to Food4Less for groceries, we got white corns 3 for $0.99, but the cashier only count for 3 corns instead of 9 corns. We used state highway 78 past through Julian which was very traffic congested. We reached Anza Borrego Desert State Park around 3 p.m. The site was $20 a night with no hook-up.

We slept there for 3 night, but it did not have hot water to wash dishes. Showers was$ 0.25 for 2 minute a little distance across in the other side of the loop. We filled our fresh tank with our water hose with the public faucet on the site next to us. We all had hot showers in our trailer that night except I was the last person and ran out of water in the end.
