I caught more than 20 crabs. I saw a couples from Roseburg using crab ring with a short rope. They did not get any crab of any size at all because the ring was just too close to the pier. I told them to get their rope longer and threw it further. He was strong and start getting a lot of crabs. His wife even went to Fred Meyer to get more rope because they had 4 rings. Some were even stuck in rock before they got more rope. He gave me a few more crabs.
