Before we left Jumbo Rock campground, we hiked around the
campground rock. We took a lot of pictures.
We left our camp site and drove to Cottonwood campground (from Jumbo Rock to Cottonwood is 41 miles.)
We found the campground closed from the big flood. We parked at the Cottonwood visitor center parking lot and I took a quick shower and Tom only bathed the 2 cats, he did not take a shower. We stayed there until 4:30 p.m. and headed out (we found out they don’t have an entrance station, only the visitor center).
We went to Winco (Indio which is two exits after Love) we were lucky to found out Winco closed at 6:00 pm on the Christmas eve, we were there at 5:30. We only have half an hour to shop. Then I went to Super Target, they closed at 7:00p.m. So we only have 40 min. left to shop. Before we went to Target, I wanted to go to Chase bank, but the ATM was inside the building, we try several times using our ATM card to open the door, but we could not work.

This time it was entering the exit too early (Red Earth Casino, usually we miss the entrance on arriving). It was dark already. Mel guided me around the RV park parking lot to get back out. We dumped our black and gray
water then filled up the water before Tom drove to the parking space further in the back. Tom took a
hot shower and we had pork rib for dinner then we stayed up until 11:00p.m.
