Tucson Winter - (day 2)

12/22/2013 (Sunday)

 Breakfast at the Chinese mall

We wake up around 8:40 a.m. in the morning, we went to the Monterey Park to buy Chinese fried stick then Tom drove to San Gabriel to have porridge. I have sampan porridge and Tom have chop beef porridge ($3.75 and $4.25). After we have our breakfast Tom take me to the Stone Town to buy thousand year old eggs, it cost $1.60 for two, I buy 6/pc.  We tried to find McDonald’s to buy coffee so I can continue driving. But we could not find one near the freeway, so Tom told me we can have McDonald’s coffee in Quartzsite. We arrived Quartzsite and got our gas at the Pilot at $3.159/gallon, then we change our mind and we want to have dinner at the Quenchan Casino instead.  We reach Yuma around 5:15 p.m. and Tom wants to go inside the Mexico to buy his medication and Tequilla. I remember I did not bring my passport, so I have to drop off Tom at the Border and I wait for him at the Quenchan Casino.  While I was waiting for Tom I put Odie at the back of our truck again, so he can go to the bathroom, I tried it two times before he understand what I mean. Odie went to the bathroom and come back inside the truck. I got some of the cat food and hand feed to Odie, and then I received the phone call from Tom to tell me to pick him up at the border.  After I pick Tom up we went back to the casino and have prime rib dinner. Since I have the membership card, I only need to pay $9.99, but Tom needs to pay for the full price which was $11.99.  After dinner we decide to keep on driving, because Tom said only need another 4 hours to Tucson.
