Tucson Spring Building - (Day 14)

4/4/13 (Thursday) -  Weather: Sunny in the morning and then cloudy around 3:00p.m. 88 degree

We only had few biscuits for breakfast. Since our 5 gallon gas tank and BBQ propane tank were empty, I put both into our truck. Before we went to the Lowe’s, Tom told me he wanted to exchange some of the 2x4x96” studs, because they were bowed and twisted. So we put the 5 pieces of bad woods into our truck for exchange.

First we went to the nearby SamRose Market on the Camino Verde to get gas and propane. (gas was $3.41/gallon and propane was $2.98/gallon) Tom felt hungry and we went to KFC to order 3 pieces of hot wing and Chicken Little for lunch. The hot wing was so small that Tom was still hungry after we ate. Next we went to the Lowe’s to look for more woods and this time we were able to find some good pieces, we got a total of 26 pieces of 2x4x96”. We only needed to pay for 21 pieces, because we returned 5 bad one. We forgot to buy the 2 pieces of 4x4x8 and left the Lowe’s. We needed to go back tomorrow to buy these plus the 13 pieces of wall PNL 8in OC 7/16.

After that we went to the Neighborhood Market to buy some sweet tea and honey ham and bread. I found wasabi sauce for $1.98. Then we stopped at the water place which was next to the Safeway to fill up our two one gallon water tank. After I was done, we headed back to our land and started working on the shed. We did not eat dinner until it past 9:30 p.m. Next I was writing this journal, I did not finish until passed 11:22 p.m.
