Tucson Winter Trip - (Day 2) - Stayed overnight at Red Earth

12/19/12 (Wednesday)

Tom wanted to go to Barstow, but he missed the exit so we end up in L.A. instead. We parked our trailer in same spot outside the church in San Gabriel. We walked inside the Stone Head Dim Sum place. We order (Sea South)Chicken with Rice and three kinds of meat (deck, bbq chicken and bbq pork) with rice. After I finished my rice, I ordered some Dim Sum to go. I find out that the Dim Sum was from $1.39 to now $1.60/ea.

Then we decided to buy Peal Milk Tea to drink. It cost $1.50/ea. Suddenly I remembered that the Hawaii Market had Sushi Ginger 2/LB for $3.99 last year, so we went there and shop.

Before I-10 Tom wanted to fill up the truck, at first I saw the Mobil gas price was $3.49/per gallon. But when I started filling up the gas, I noticed that the price was $3.99/per gallon, the $3.49 price was for cash only not with credit card. So we only filled a few gallons just to get to the next stop.

Next stop for gas, we stop at Morongo Travel Center some like 80 miles away. We both thought that the gas price would be cheaper, but it was not true. It was #$3.49/per gallon. We continued to Red Earth Casino and spent the night there. (free water and dump) . The parking lot is not even have more than a dozen of vehicles. Look like it is going to fold.
