Oregon Coast summer trip - (Day 5) - Brookings to Coos Bay

7/11/12  (Wednesday)

I woke up in the morning to get a quick shower, then I started packing up the trailer and cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast.  While I was cooking I also took the clothes to the laundrymat to wash.  Before we left our camp site, our next door came asking us are we leaving and going home. Tom told him about the bad phone reception and we are leaving early for our next stop. He told us there were several places your can go to catch crab. He also told us there are mussels in Ariozna Beach State Park further up the 101.

We filled up our water tank and went to the dump, while we are at the dump, Tom were bathing both our cats.  Since I wanted a hair cut, Tom drove the trailer to the hair cut place, but she was busy and told me to come back at 4:15. So we decided to go to the Grocery outlet to return the Pet Hut which was too small for our cats and the dog lease because the latch were both side the same, we can not close it.  After that I went to the Dollars Tree and shop for more items, I bought 2 Super Glue which I can’t find it in San Jose Dollars Tree store anymore.  By the time I was done, it was time for the hair cut.  This time she has a big sign up in front of the street, so it is much easy to find the place.

It cost the same $8 for a hair cut and she did a petty good job.

Then we drove 110 miles to Coos Bay. We stopped at the dock of Gold Beach to take some picture of the bridge.

The Rogue River jet boat tour is based in this city.

We arrived at Coos Bay around 8:00 p.m., first we drove to the paid RV area of the Mill Casino to fill up the water tank. Then Mel went into the RV office to register for 7 days(Club member).  We move to the very back of the free area and parked closer to other RV. Tom unhooked the truck and we started unload our trailer.  After we were done, I decided to go to Walmart. After we came back, we had sushi and crab for dinner.  We watched some TV and I read some of my books before we went to bed.
