Yuma - Day 7

7/15/10 (Thursday)

Today the weather was better than yesterday, it was 98 degree outside. We went looked for another RV Park inside Yuma, because we only paid Pilot Knob for one week from 7/11 to 7/17. We found River Front RV park inside Yuma city limit, next to that place there was a large park and big playground. Also at the end of this RV park there was the Colorado River.

The assisting host Phil was very nice, we walked around to check out the trees to see if they have a nice shade. He told us the weekly rate was $125 plus electricity. We took some pictures and told him we will move here this Sunday (7/18) and stay for a week. Tom saw a sign Cocopah RV & Golf Park. We drove 4 miles and took a look, there was no tree and the rate for a week was $250?. We passed Avenue B & Main Street we saw a Hilco RV store. Tom and I went inside and look for the propane hose, we found one cost $11.95 plus tax totaled $13.07. Tom needed to buy the seal for the trailer roof which cost $6.95 plus tax totaled $7.60. Tom said here should be a Cocopah Casino few miles from here. We dropped Lawrence in the main library first and we went look for the casino. They had a huge parking lot and parking area for RV. They had free drink and sweet ice tea like McDonald’s. But when we walked out the casino there was a security stopped us and told us we could not bring the drink outside the casino. By the time we went back to the Main Library it was passed 2:30 p.m. We stayed until 8:45pm, and then we went to Fry’s Food again to buy pork chop for dinner.
