We woke up late that morning around 10:00. Before I started putting the last things in the trailer, I watered all my plants outside as our trip to Yuma would last at least 2 weeks. I also put enough cat food in our garage for my other 2 cats. To keep it fresh, Melanie got a creative way by putting the cat food in a few plastic bags so the cats could break open when they got hungry enough.
Before we reached Gilroy, Tom bought one propane hose from the Camping World as our hose was already leaking. It cost $15.55 plus tax $1.44 totals of $16.99. We would buy another one somewhere in Wal-mart if we find it.
Tom filled up gas from Gilroy Chevron before we drove to Lost Hill Love’s gas station to fill up our truck again, as we knew there was few gas stations in between and very expensive. We stopped at a truck stop to cook noodle for dinner. We drove a little more and spent the night in the parking lot at Flying J at Lebec as it was getting late.
